      IRICA published the statistics of the country’s foreign trade during the 7 months

      Based on the report of the Public Relations office of Iran Customs , Foroud Asgari, the president of Iran Customs stated that the non oil exports of the country during the 7 months of the current Iranian year ( started on March 21, 2018), exceeded 27 billion dollars and reached 27 billion and 229 million dollars.


      Based on the recent statistics of Iran customs, during the mentioned period, the volume of Iran’s non-oil exports reached 67 million and 362 thousand tons with the value of 27 billion and 229 million dollars. As it is noticed the value of Iran’s exports faced a growth of 13.35 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
      He further added,” on the other hand the volume of imports estimated at 18 million and 929 thousand tons with the value of 26 billion and 303 million dollars.” The imports of Iran dropped by 8.68 percent in weight and 11.07 percent in value compared to the same period of the previous year.
      Main export items
      Asgari further announced the details of main export items of the country which included:gas condensate with value of 2 billion and 718 million dollars, liquefied propane with 1 billion and 224 million dollars, other light oils and products except gasoline with 980 million dollars , methanol with value 849 million dollars and film grade polyethylene with value of 691 million dollars.
      The report of Iran customs indicates that during the mentioned period 31.42 percent of the total value of Iran’s exports assigned to petrochemicals while 9.98 percents belonged to gas condensate and the remained 58.60 percent related to other goods.
      Main import items
      the president of Iran Customs then announced the main import items of the country which consisted of corn for animals with value of 1 billion and 106 million dollars, separate parts and segments for passenger car manufacturing with 1 billion and 96 million dollars, rice with 985 mllion dollars, soy bean with 789 million dollars and coal electrode furnaces with 320 million dollars.
      Main importers
      Foroud asgari then explained about the main countries which purchased the Iranian goods and stated, “During the period under study, Iraq with allocation of 5 billion and 730 million dollars, China with 5 billion and 379 million dollars, UAE with 4 billion and 637 million dollars, Afghanistan with 1 billion and 872 million dollars, and India with 1 billion and 399 million dollars of Iranian non oil exports ranked first to fifth in this regard.”
      Main exporters
      Asgari continued, “As for imports, China with 6 billion and 622 million dollars, UAE with 3 billion and 932 million dollars, Republic of Korea with 1 billion and 634 million dollars, India with 1 billion and 502 million dollars and Germany with 1 billion and 426 million dollars allocated the highest share of Iran’s imports to themselves.”
